Hazing prevention and awareness programs must be research-informed, campus-wide programs that are designed to reach students, staff, and faculty. The program must include prevention strategies that are intended to stop hazing before it occurs, such as skill-building for bystander intervention, information about ethical leadership, and strategies for building group cohesion without hazing.
