Program Overview

OPSU’s stackable Accounting micro-credentials provide targeted, real-world competencies that can be used immediately in your profession. These credentials are ideal for individuals pursuing or currently working in business, finance, auditing, or tax-related roles. The badges build from basic accounting principles to applied managerial analysis and ethics.

Badge Levels and Skills

Badge I: Financial Accounting Fundamentals

Covers foundational knowledge of financial statements, accounting cycles, and GAAP principles.

Introduces cost behaviors, budgeting, and internal decision-making tools for managers.

Delivery Format

Courses are delivered both online and in-person on the OPSU campus in Goodwell, Oklahoma. Coursework may include case studies, software simulations, and applied projects relevant to today’s business environment.
