International students may submit unofficial documents for admission consideration, but students must provide an original copy of all documents upon arrival to the University.

Documents to Be Uploaded When Applying

All documents must be uploaded when completing your application.

Complete the Financial Guarantee Form. This form will indicate your immigration status, establish your sponsor, if any, for the cost of your studies at OPSU.

Provide a letter dated within six months from your bank, in English, in US currency, stating the amount of funds are sufficient to cover your cost of attendance. The cost of attendance is detailed in the financial guarantee form.

Submit either a copy of your vaccination records OR the exemption form. You may complete the Certificate of Exemption form if you have any objections to recieving the immunizations.

When applying for international admissions to OPSU, it is essential to include a copy of your passport to verify your identity and citizenship.

Unofficial copies can be sent by the student but are considered unofficial.

Required if you have attended another college/university.

Not required for admission but strongly recommended. These scores are used for placement in programs such as associate degree and bachelor’s degree programs. These scores are also used for the consideration of academic scholarships.

Students who do not submit an ACT or SAT, or equivalent US GPA, will be placed into associate degree programs and cannot be considered for academic scholarships.

Required unless your country of residence is exempt. See the list of Recognized English-Speaking Countries to determine if your country is exempt.

An official international TOEFL report with a score of 500 (computer 173), or an official TOEFLiBT report with a score of 61, or score 5.5+ IELTS Academic Score, or Duolingo English Test Score 85+, or Pearson PTE score of 46+.
