Goodwell, Okla — Oklahoma Panhandle State University proudly announces that the 2026 inductees into the Alumni Ambassador Hall of Fame: J. Bryon Test of Guymon and Tindle Ramon of Spearman, Texas. Both honorees exemplify the mission of OPSU through their commitment to service, leadership, and lifelong dedication to the university and the Panhandle region.
The Alumni Ambassador Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in their careers and communities while maintaining strong connections to the university. This year’s inductees share a deep history with OPSU and have spent decades contributing to the success of their students, families, colleagues, and neighbors.
J. Bryon Test, a respected artist and longtime OPSU faculty member, built the university’s art department and spent nearly thirty years inspiring students and expanding arts opportunities across the region. His leadership, mentorship, and establishment of the Paul Farrell Memorial Art Auction have created lasting impacts on both the campus and the cultural life of the Panhandle. Tindle Ramon, a 1981 OPSU graduate, has spent his career in banking while dedicating significant time to service and leadership throughout his community. Dr. Julie Dinger, President of OPSU, shared, “Bryon and Tindle have lived the values that define Panhandle State. Their dedication to our students, their communities, and the future of this region reflects the heart of our mission. We are grateful for their example and honored to celebrate their accomplishments.”
Director of Alumni Relations, Shawn Joy, added, “These inductees represent the spirit of OPSU through their service, leadership, and pride in the university. Their stories inspire our campus and community, and we are proud to welcome them into the Alumni Ambassador Hall of Fame.”
OPSU congratulates J. Bryon Test and Tindle Ramon on this well-deserved honor and celebrates their lasting contributions to the university and the Oklahoma Panhandle. The Alumni Ambassador Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on January 10 at 6 p.m. in the OPSU Ballroom. There is no fee to attend, and all are welcome.
